selection or object.

The plot displays residue backbone phi/psi angles and allows residues
to be selected interactively by clicking points in the plot. Residue
types can be highlighted using different colours, making it useful for
examining unusual backbone conformations and crowded regions of
Ramachandran space.

== Installation ==

Download <code>rama.py</code> and load it in PyMOL with:

== Usage ==

First create or load a PyMOL object or selection, for example:

select alpha1, chain A and resi 1-141
</syntaxhighlight>

Then run the Ramachandran plot command:

</syntaxhighlight>

The plot title uses the name of the selected object or selection.

Clicking a point in the Ramachandran plot selects the corresponding
residue in PyMOL.
