The Protein Data Bank (PDB) is a repository of large molecule structures (proteins and nucleic acids). The website offers also a variety of tools and resources for studying these structures. The structures are available in PDB and mmCIF format, that can be read by PyMOL. In order to exploit these resources, some plugins have been developped.
